St. Francis Track & Field places 3rd out of 17 teams at 2024 Dunkirk Invite

The St. Francis Track & Field team placed 3 rd out of 17 teams at 2024
Dunkirk Invitational on April 26 th . Numerous Personal and Seasonal
Best’s were earned Friday Night as the Clear & warm conditions broght
out numerous outstanding performances. Marcus Harrison won both the
Shotput and Discus while Damone Allen won the High Jump winning a jump
off for 1 st place. Michael Stadler ran a personal best of 1:57.30 to
win the open 800m. His time ranks in 5 th in NYS according to Milesplit
NY. Separation from 1 st place to 3 rd place for the overall team title
was separated by 2.5 points with the 4 x 400 relay deciding the meet
for the overall team title for the Invite.
Meet Summary
 Senior Marcus Harrison wins the Shotput (48-9) & the discus (145-11).
Romeo Valle throws 43-9 to place 2nd in the Shotput. Camden Marx threw the
discus 105-3 to place 8th overall in the event.
 Junior Damone Allen cleared 5’9 during the jump off for 1st place in the
High Jump to take the event. Not settling for a tie in the event Allen
wins his first invite in the high jump. Frosh Kaiden Wright ties for 8th
overall in the High Jump clearing 5’2.
 Junior Michael Stadler wins the 800m in an impressive time of 1:57..30.
His time is 3rd in NYS according the Milesplit NY. Brayden Mahoney ran a
career best of 2:05.03.
 Dominic Davis runs a career best 59.00 in the 400IH to place 3rd in the
event.
 Nate Powers runs 16.99 in the 110HH to place 6th in the event overall.
 Brendan Thompson run 24.24 officially to place 7th in the 200m.
 Nate Phillips runs a 4:52.58 was a seasonal best for the senior in the
open mile to place 8th in the event
 Maximus Sturniolo runs 54.94 in the 400m to place 8th overall at the
Invite.
 4 x 800 relay of Dominic Davis, Brayden Mahoney, Aidan Wallace & Mike
Stadler place 3rd the event in a time of 8:39.32 which is a seasonal best
for St. Francis.
 4 x 100 of David Spadone, Maximus Sturniolo, Brendan Thompson & Kaiden
Wright run a Season Best Time of 46.23 to place 7th in the relay event.
 4 x 400 relay of Davis, Sturniolo, Mahoney and Stadler run a season best
time of 3:34.98 to place 5th in the event.
