St. Francis Track & Field defeats Timon (63-51) & Nichols (107-7) to improve to 7-0 in MMHSAA

The St. Francis Track & Field team defeated Timon 63-51 & Nichols 107-7 to improve to 7-0 in MMHSAA league competition.  Senior Marcus Harrison and Junior Dominic Davis led the way with double wins as the Red Raiders used a 24-3 run in the middle of the dual to win the meet against a well prepared and talented Timon squad

  • Junior Dominic Davis jumps another career best in the triple jump with his 40’3.5 effort.  Junior Mikko Rippon also sets a career mark with his best jump of 39’1.5 to place 3rd in the event.  St. Francis 29 Timon 12
  • Into a strong wind Sophomore Brendan Thompson and Senior David Spadone run 11.8 to place 3rd in the 100m.St. Francis 30 Timon 20
  • Junior Mike Stadler pulls away from the field with 250m left in the mile to place 1st in a time of 4:53, Senior Nathan Phillips places 2nd in the mile to earn a big 8 points for the team score.  St. Francis 38 Timon 21
  • Dominic Davis wins the 400m with a time of 52.8. It is Davis’ 2nd win of the afternoon. Maximus Sturniolo runs a season best 53.5 to place 2nd in the event as the Red Raiders earn another big 8 points in the event.  Frosh Shepard Snyder runs 55.6.  St. Francis 46  Timon 22
  • Junior Damone Allen clears 5’6 in the High Jump to place 2nd in the High Jump.  Chad English places 3rd in the High Jump. St. Francis  50 Timon 27
  • Brayden Mahoney wins the open 800m with a time of 2:07.  Mike Stadler places 2nd as the Red Raiders finish the 800m on a 24-3 run in the last 3 events on the track. St. Francis hits 58 team points after the High Jump and 800m. St. Francis 58 Timon 28.
  • Senior David Spadone battles his way to a 3rd place finish in the 200m with a time of 24.0 into the wind.  St. Francis 59 Timon 36.
  • Senior Pat Roof runs 10:56 to place 2nd in the 3200m with Frosh Spencer Frangou placing 3rd with his time of 11:30. St. Francis 63 Timon 41
  • 4 x 400 relay of Mikko Rippon, Nathan Powers, Shepard Snyder and Aidan Wallace run 3:51 and place 3rd in the event.  St. Francis 63 Timon 46.  St. Francis 102 Nichols 7
  • 4 x 100 relay runs a season best 45.9 to place 2nd in the event.  David Spadone, Maximus Struniolo, Brendan Thompson and Kaiden Wright make up the 4 legs of the 4 x 100.  St. Francis 63 Timon 51.  St. Francis 107 Nichols 7
