Homestay Program
St. Francis High School Administration, in conjunction with the School Board and Board of Trustees, firmly believes this program strengthens the overall experience of our “out of town” and international students for many reasons including; a healthier living environment where more support and structure will be provided by the host parent(s), improved and ongoing communication originating between parents and host parents, bonding that develops between families hosting and families hosted often stemming from shared interests/sports/activities, and greater opportunity to more fully experience all that the greater Buffalo area has to offer.
These are but a few of the many benefits of living in an off-campus “home” environment. We take seriously the responsibility of providing the best possible experience for ALL of our students during this critically important stage in their lives. Based on our past success with billeted students and the current needs of students coming to St. Francis from outside Western New York, we firmly believe that this program will benefit our students in all aspects of their young lives.
