Athlete of the Week for January 12-18: Griffin LaPlante '26
Last weekend at the Detroit Catholic Central Duals, LaPlante earned an overtime victory over the No. 9 nationally ranked wrestler at the 157 weight class. His victory was a key factor in securing the team's win over the No. 32 nationally ranked Dundee team from Michigan.
LaPlante is currently ranked No. 7 in the nation for his weight class and is committed to continuing his wrestling and academic career at NC State University next year.
