Brother Tim Meets Pope Leo XIV

At the conclusion of the 203rd General Chapter in Rome, our very own Brother Tim had the once-in-a-lifetime honor of meeting Pope Leo XIV (formerly Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost) at St. Peter’s Basilica. After Pope Leo XIV addressed the friars with words of encouragement and a call to renewal in the Gospel lifestyle, he personally greeted all 200+ brothers — shaking each of their hands.

Brother Tim shared how deeply present Pope Leo XIV was in that moment: “He made you feel like you were the only one in the room.”

When his turn came, Brother Tim thanked the Holy Father for being an inspiration to young people and a true witness to the Gospel — and humbly asked him to keep the St. Francis High School family and community in his prayers.

After all, "Francis" is his middle name.
