The Red Raiders kicked off the 2018 season with a trip to Clarence High School for the annual varsity tournament. The Red Raiders started pool play 0-4 with losses coming to Canisius and Orchard Park. The Red Raiders corrected their mistakes and finished the day with 4 straight wins and captured the Silver Division Championship. The Red Raiders defeated Williamsville South, Sweet Home and St. Joe's en route to the silver division title. Junior Mario Moretti led the team in assists and distributed the ball to sophomore Jacob Sacilowski and senior Dan Busha who were the big hitters for the red and white. Junior Joshua Quinn was a stalwart in the middle and secured the silver division championship with a big kill in the middle to put St. Francis on top over St. Joe's. Junior Jack Rooney led the way defensively, while sophomore Peyton Consigli had timely kills and blocks in his first varsity action for the Red Raiders.
