The St. Francis Red Raiders improved their record to 2-0 with a convincing 20-8 road win against the Erie Royals in Erie, Pa. St. Francis opened the scoring when QB Jack Bestpitch ran in from 6 yards after a long 13 play drive which started at the St. Francis 21 yard line. Bestpitch ran in for the PAT, giving the Red Raiders an 8-0 lead, which they took into the locker room at halftime.

The 3rd quarter was scoreless, but Erie tied the game early in the 4th quarter on a 1 yard TD run and a successful PAT. In the 4th quarter, QB Bestpitch hit WR Jack Raymond in stride on a 44 yard TD pass with 6:29 remaining. The PAT failed, and the Red Raiders led 14-8. On their next possession, St. Francis scored after a 41 yard drive, culminating with a TD run by QB Bestpitch on a 4th and goal from the 5 yard line with just less than 1 minute left on the clock. The PAT failed, but the Red Raiders walked away with a 20-8 win.

WR Jack Raymond led the team with 3 receptions for 66 yards and a TD. The swarming St. Francis defense was led by DL Jason Lowry and LB Colton Evoniuk with 6 tackles each. LB Dylan Mack, DL Jack Demeo and DB Shane Roberts each had 5 tackles, and LB Conor Black pitched in with 4 tackles. Shane Roberts also had a 1st quarter interception which he returned 15 yards and LB Dylan Mack recovered a 3rd quarter Erie fumble. Special teams also pitched in as Gavin Calkins recovered an Erie fumble on the opening kickoff to start the 2 half.
