Varsity Volleball vs Hutch-Tech

The Red Raiders opened the home portion of their season with an impressive 3-0 sweep over the Engineers of Hutch Tech. All 14 members of the team saw action throughout the match. Junior Mario Moretti continues to impress at the setter position leading the team with 20 assists while Seniors Tom Moore and Dan Busha provided most of the offense attacking on the outside. Sophomore Jacob Sacilowski was consistent at the serving line adding 4 aces. Junior Josh Quinn, Seniors Aidan Cirasunda, Carson Poczcwinski, and sophomore Peyton Consigli were very strong down the middle, adding huge blocks throughout the night. Defense was spearheaded by Junior Jack Rooney who led the team in digs, while Seniors Hayden Nowak and Lucas Unger,and Juniors Rob Rusin, and Zach Miller played solid adding some great hustle plays. Miller also had 3 kills and 1 ace in the win.
Sophomore Parker Flis saw action at both the right side attack and at setter. Flis also contributed at the serving line adding 2 aces.
