Fr Basketball vs St. Mary's
The Freshmen Red Raider Basketball team earned their first win of the season on the road versus St. Mary's, 36-27. Markus Stahlka led the team in scoring with 8 points and also led the team in rebounding. Aidan McCarthy had 7 points in the win. Blaise Kolbert had 6 points, Jaxon Mohawk had 5 points, while Darnell Dallas and Marc Patterson each had 4 points in the win. Dallas also led the team in assists and distributed the ball with ease on offense. Cole Eckman rounded out the scoring for the red and white with 2 points and played stout defense all night. The Red Raiders played great defensively and had a 10 point lead after the first quarter and never looked back. Balanced scoring and great teamwork by all team members pushed the Red Raiders toward victory. The Red Raiders will look for their second road win of the young season as they travel to Jamestown on Friday night.
