Freshman Basketball vs Aquinas

The Red Raiders shot 3 of 14 from the free throw line and the pressure full court defense from Aquinas in the 1st half was too much for the Red Raider freshmen basketball to overcome, as the red and white lost 50-44 at home on Monday night. Markus Stahlka and Jaxon Mohawk had 13 points each as they tried to mount the comeback in the 4th quarter. A quarter in which the Red Raiders were down 38-23 to start. The Red Raiders put together a 21 point 4th quarter but were unable to get the victory. Blaise Kolbert had 7 points in the loss, all in the second half of action. Gavin Calkins had 5 points off the bench, while Max Carter had 3 points. Darnell Dallas was limited to a season low 3 points due to early foul trouble. The young Red Raiders do not have a game until Dec. 27th when they play Health Science Charter School at home at 4 pm. The game kicks off a night of basketball with JV and Varsity playing Orchard Park at 5:30 and 7 pm, respectively.
