Back-to-Back Silver Division Champions

Red Raiders win Silver Division 
The 2019 Red Raider Volleyball season got underway at the 33rd Annual Clarence Boys' Volleyball Tournament on Saturday August 31st.  The Red Raiders were matched up with Orchard Park, Lockport, and Hamburg in pool play.  In their opening match, the Red Raiders fell to Orchard Park 21-25, 15-25.  In their second match, the Red Raiders redeemed theirselves with a 27-25 and 25-18 victory evening their  record to 2-2 in the pool.  With a chance to advance to the gold division the Red Raiders lost to Hamburg 24-26 and 19-25 to finish in 3rd place in the pool with a 2-4 record.  In the silver division semifinals the Red Raiders defeated Williamsvilel South 30-21 to advance to the silver division finals.  The Red Raiders sqaured off against MMAA rival St. Joe's in the silver division finals.  The Red Raiders defeated St. Joe's 30-24 to win the 2019 Silver Division.  The Red Raiders are now back-to-back silver division champs.  Senior Jack Rooney and junior Peyton Consigli led the way for the red and white as they were dominate on the outside with their hitting.  Senior Zachary Miller had a great day passing and serving, while sophomore Ben Zambron led the team in assists as he saw his first career varsity action.
