Varsity Volleyball vs St. Joe's
Final score: 25-22, 26-24, 25-21
Big win last night for the #6 ranked Red Raiders over MMAA rival St. Joe's on the road. The sets were 25-22, 26-24, 25-21 in favor of the red and white. The team handle the push from the Marauders well and went on to complete the sweep the #8 ranked team.
Mario Moretti had 22 assists dishing out dimes to Jacob Sacilowski 10 kills, Josh Quinn 7 kills, and Peyton Consigli 5 kills. Freshmen Aidan Trimper chipped in with 3 kills and Senior Jack Rooney contributed with 4 assists and 3 kills. The Red Raiders were extremely efficient at the serving line recording 4 aces in the win and consistently getting the Marauders out of system all night long. Senior Jack Rooney had 2 aces to lead the way.
Next up for the team is a home match with St. Mary's on Monday night at 6:30 pm and a home match on Wednesday night versus City Honors at 6:30 pm. JV will play at 5 pm on both Monday and Wednesday. Come out and support the Red Raiders with the first two home matches of the season.
