JV White vs Canisius

After just two practices together, JV White earned its first victory of the season.  A roster depleted by players with game conflicts as well as injuries was bolstered by the addition of four classmates from the JV Prep team to help secure the win.  Although the scoring was done by those players, team regular Brendan Cheng set up Aaron Roberts with a nifty pass to make the score what was an insurmountable 3-0 in the third.  A solid effort between the pipes by Sebastian Thome who stopped 17 of 18 shots thrown at him. He told coaches after the game he felt he “should have had that one”. The team plays Timon JV Monday evening.
