The team fought back after falling behind 2-0 and eventually drew within one on a goal from Neil Downey which was assisted by Anthony Domagola and Alex Boyd. A strong goaltending performance from Matthew Paluch, who gave up only two goals, both of which were tipped by opposing players, was not enough. After pulling Paluch, Frontier was able to add an empty netter to seal the game.
