Freshman Basketball vs Aquinas
Game summary/standout performances: The Red Raiders were down 2-0 to start the game and then Anthony Giardina hit a three to put the Red Raiders up 3-2 and the team never looked back in their 48-43 victory over the Lil Irish of Aquinas at home on Monday night. With the win, the red and white snapped a five-game losing streak as Giardina finished with 13 points including 3 three pointers and Charlie Rooney had a game high 15 points including going 4-4 from the free throw line to secure the win. Aiden Thomas and John Mallory had 7 points each for the Red Raiders. Matthew Stadler continued his strong play with 4 points and Shane Colley chipped in with 2 points. The Red Raiders will look to continue their winning ways with a home game versus Jamestown on Wednesday night at 6 pm.
