Freshman Basketball vs St. Mary's


The Red Raiders saw their three-game winning streak snapped as the red and white lost to St. Mary's in overtime on Wednesday night, 53-48. St. Mary's hit 9 three-pointers and scored 38 points in the second half and overtime to defeat the Red Raiders. John Mallory led all scorers with 16 points and Charlie Rooney scored 13 points in the loss. The Red Raiders went ice cold in the 4th quarter only scoring 3 points. The team also shot 10-25 from the free throw. Aiden Thomas had 6 points, Ryan Hilton had 4 points, Anthony Giardina had 3 points, Devon Shepherd had 2 points, Shane Colley had 2 points, and Matt Stadler had 2 points to round out the scoring for the Red Raiders. The team will look to get back on the winning track with a home match-up versus St. Joe's on Friday night. Tip-off is set for 4 pm.
