Varsity Volleyball - Eden Tournament

Final score: 1-5 in pool play; won the Bronze Division

The Red Raiders competed in the Eden Tournament at the NFVB Courts on Saturday. The Red Raiders lost 0-2 to East Aurora, 0-2 to McQuaid (Rochester), and 1-1 against Lockport to finish pool play at 1-5. This put the Red Raiders into the Bronze Division where the Red Raiders faced Cheektowaga and defeated them 25-15. The Red Raiders then defeated Lake Shore 25-22 to win the Bronze Division. Strong play from juniors Aidan Trimper and John Mallory led the way offensively while senior Nolan Boltz chipped in as well. Freshman Charlie Allesi and senior Aidan McCarthy led the team defensively. Senior Ben Zambron led the team in assists. Junior Charlie Taggart, senior Marc Patterson, senior Greg Jones, and freshman Jack Niedbalski all played well when called upon.
