JV Baseball vs Canisius

Freshman call up L. Guzowski made his first start on the JV team one to remember.  Guzowski tossed 5 shutout innings striking out 5 batters while allowing only 2 walks and 3 hits.  Diving catches by Vendetti, Rogan and 2 by Kocher steadied the Red Raider defense.  Vendetti came on in relief in the top of the 7th with the bases loaded and no outs.  Vendetti struck out the first two batters and got the last out with a ground out to second.  Luke Rybczynski knocked out 2 hits and Jack Homer belted a long triple to lead the winners at the plate.
