Transportation Information

St. Francis works in cooperation with twenty plus school districts to provide transportation for its students. Section 3635 of the Education Law requires all non-city districts to provide transportation for pupils enrolled in grades 9-12 who live up to a distance of fifteen miles.

In order to obtain transportation for their children, parents must file requests with the district in which they live by April 1st  of the preceding school year or within 30 days of moving to the district. To assist our current families, we send each family the Non Public Transportation Requests form from their corresponding district well in advance of the April 1st deadline for them to complete and send in to their district.

If you have further question feel free to contact Miss Debbie Schweinsburg in the Main Office or click here for the New York State Education Department's Handbook of Services for students attending non public schools.
