St. Francis Track & Field places 2nd out of 16 teams at 2024 Frostbite Relays hosted by Franklinville H S

The St. Francis Track & Field team placed 2nd out of 16 teams at the 2024 Frostbite Relays hosted by Franklinville High School on Saturday April 13th.  Dominic Davis led the way being part of three winning relays as the Red Raiders won 4 events on the Cold, Damp & Windy conditions that plaqued the event all afternoon.
Meet Summary
  • Shuttle Hurdle Relay of Dominic Davis, Dalton Pelow, Nathan Powers & Kaiden Wright win the event in a time of 56.11.
  • Triple Jump Relay of Dominic Davis & Mikko Rippon win the relay event.  Davis jumps a career best 40’0 in the event.
  • ShotPut Relay of Camden Marx and Romeo Valle win the relay event.  Marx throws a career best 40’0 in the event.
  • 4 x 400 relay of Dominic Davis, Dalton Pelow, Maximus Sturniolo & Mike Stadler win the event in a time of 3:39.50.
  • 4 x 800 relay of Brayden Mahoney, Maximus Sturniolo, Nathan Phillips and Mike Stadler run a time of 8:46.73 to place 2nd in the event.
  • 4 x 200 relay of Dalton Pelow, David Spadone, Brendan Thompson & Ben Siler run 1:39.50 to place 2nd in the event.
  • Nathan Phillips places 3rd in the open mile running 5:00.23 in the event.
  • Long Jump Relay of Damone Allen (16’7) and Chad English (16’5) place 4th in the event.
  • Distance Medley of Brayden Mahoney, David Spadone, Aidan Wallace and Patrick Roof run 11:06.89 to place 4th in the event.
  • 4 x 100 relay of Shepard Snyder, Sam Skalski, Ben Siler & Kaiden Wright run 48.79 to place 5th in the event.
  • Nathan Powers clears 9’6 in the Pole Vault to place 6th place in the event that was scored as a relay but due to the conditions had numerous scratches.
St. Francis Track & Field opens the MMHSAA dual meet portion of their schedule Wednesday April 17th when they take on O’Hara and Christian Central.
