St. Francis loses to #3 ranked St. Joe’s 0-3

The Red Raiders lost to #3 ranked St. Joe’s 14-25, 14-25, 10-25 to drop to 5-9 overall and 2-4 in the MMAA. Freshman Tristan Kolek and Junior Charlie Allesi continue to be the main offensive weapons for the Red Raiders.  Kolek had 6 kills while Allesi had 8 kills in the loss.  Sophomores Aidan Wallace and Luke Lanning continue to improve since being called up from the JV squad, as Wallace had 14 assists and Lanning had 3 kills.  Senior Thomas Utter had 4 assists while senior Noah Cervoni had 1 kill.  Defensively, Charlie Allesi had 10 digs, while Tristan Kolek had 4 digs, Luke Lanning had 4 digs, and Nicholas Szpylman had 2 digs.  The Red Raiders travel to Orchard Park on Saturday the 14th for the annual OP Tournament, with pool play beginning at 11:30 am.
