St. Francis defeats Cardinal O’Hara 3-0

The Red Raiders defeated the Hawks of Cardinal O’Hara on the road 0-3 (25-15, 25-16, 25-14) to move to 7-11 overall and 3-5 in the MMAA.  It was a total team effort as the red and white got contributions from everyone in the win.  Senior Jacob Gearhart and Freshman Tristan Kolek set the tone on offense as they had 15 kills and 13 kills respectively. Gearhart also had 14 digs and Kolek had 3 blocks. Sophomore Aidan Wallace had 17 assists and 2 aces and senior Nicholas Szpylman had 14 assists and 7 aces in the win.  Senior Nicholas Dzimian had 2 aces and 1 block.  Sophomore Luke Lanning had 4 kills.  Junior Logan Burns had 8 digs and 1 ace.  Junior Luke Maracle had 1 kill and Senior Joans Herdlein had 1 dig and 1 ace.
