Red Raiders take 1st place in a field of 24 teams in the Southern Tier Wrestling Officials Tournament.

Last week, the Red Raiders competed in a field of 24 teams at Jamestown Community College in the Southern Tier Wrestling Officials Tournament and took 1st place there as well. Many wrestlers had outstanding individual performances, and the Red Raiders crowned four individual champions. Cullen Edwards (108), Rory White (145), Griff LaPlante (152), and Gage LaPlante (170) took first place. Zachary Caldwell (190) took 2nd, Connor Miller (190) placed 3rd, Brandon Drummond (160) 4th. White was named the WNY Athletics Wrestler of the Week for his efforts, winning the championship as a 5-seed and defeating three NYS state qualifiers on his way to the title.
