JV Red vs Frontier
The St. Francis JV RED team opened the 2018-2019 season Friday evening with a convincing 4-2 victory over the Frontier Falcons. After a strong opening period, the Red Raider squad found themselves ahead 1-0, only to fall behind 2-1 following a penalty filled second period. The team breathed a sigh of relief in the second intermission and came into the third period with renewed vigor, scoring three times, and not stopping their aggressive play until the final buzzer rang. Myles Schenfield, after an assist, scoring the game winning goal and leading the team in hits deserves player of the game honors.
