Tennis vs Gow
The Red Raiders were looking for their first win of the season against the Ravens of Gow but came up just short in reaching their goal losing 2-3. The doubles team were the strength for the red and white as both teams secured victories. The 1st doubles team of Nick Reeb and Paul Kruszka won 6-2, 6-3 and the 2nd doubles team of Pierce Drake and Josh Schuler won 6-1, 6-0. The singles matches did not favor the Red Raiders as the team saw 1st singles David Zizzi lose 1-6, 0-6 and 3rd singles Brandon Gaspar lose 1-6, 1-6. The match of the night was at 2nd singles as Marshall Beuler played three sets to try to will his team to victory. Beuler won the first set 6-4 but fell in the second set 1-6. This led to the dramatic third set finish in which Beuler lost 0-6. The team continues to look for their first win of the season.
